Like the Angel

"Like the Angel" is the first single from american punk rock group, Rise Against. The song appered on Revolutions per Minute and was released April 8th, 2003 (the same day as Revolutions per Minute), and a live version of the song appeared the Generation Lost DVD. The single was only released as a promo single^[1] and it's the bands only single released under Fat Wreck Chords.

"Like the Angel" is featured on the soundtrack to the skateboarding video game, Tony Hawk's Underground. The song is also released on various compilation album like Take Action! Volume 3^[2] and Staf Diecisiete Soundandculture.^[3]

The song didn't chart on any charts in the United States or Canada and there wasn't released any music video for the single. The song is however well recived among fans and it's on of the bands highest rated singles on Rate Your Music.^[4] Sputnikmusic praised the song for its wonderful solo and McIlrath's voice for perfectly matching the music.^[5]
